What is free?

Sunshine Island includes three dinosaur friends and their activities. One optional purchase unlocks Rainbow Jungle, Bubble Bay and Snowflake Island, with nine more friends. Meet all twelve friends to open the bonus Friendship Island adventures. There is no subscription.

Restore your island purchase

Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. In the app, open Grown-up settings, complete the parental gate and tap Restore Purchases. An internet connection may be needed. Restoration brings back island access; it does not transfer collected dinosaurs or other game progress.

Waiting for purchase approval

If your family uses Apple’s Ask to Buy, the additional islands stay locked until the family organiser approves the purchase. Return to the app after approval. If needed, use Restore Purchases.

Where is progress saved?

Collected dinosaurs, stickers, outfits and settings are saved locally on the device. There is no developer-operated cloud save or cross-device progress sync. Removing the app or clearing its data can remove this progress. Starting a fresh adventure clears progress but does not cancel an island purchase.

Sound and offline play

Spoken prompts and gentle sound effects can be switched off separately in Grown-up settings. The game’s artwork and voice recordings are bundled for offline play. Connecting to the App Store is needed to buy or restore access.

Refunds

Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. You can request help through Apple’s purchase support. Refunding the island unlock removes access to the paid islands.
